Executive Biography - Greg Conner
Greg Conner began working with EDS Advanced Solutions in January, 2005 and has more than 17 years of human resources, employee recruitment, union relations and performance planning experience in British Columbia. Greg is responsible for all human resource activities for all EDS Advanced Solutions employees and customers.
Prior to joining EDS Advanced Solutions, Greg was the Executive Director of Human Resources at Camosun College in Victoria, BC. During his term at Camosun, Greg provided overall direction and supervision to the Human Resources Department, including employee recruitment and selection, compensation, orientation, performance development, health and wellness, benefit and payroll administration and employee recognition. Greg also led and achieved an equitable and organizationally enhancing settlement with union support staff within a strict zero compensation fiscal mandate, which has been lauded as one of the most progressive ever negotiated in the sector.
Greg represented the College in liaison with the provincial government and other institutions on various issues related to Human Resources and was the chair of a provincial sector committee on short and long term disability plans for college instructors.
Between 1988 and 2000, Greg worked in human resource departments within the BC provincial government, ultimately attaining the title of director. Greg worked for a number of ministries and within the Ministry of Human Resources was responsible for the development and delivery of the full spectrum of human resource services in a highly decentralized organization of over 3000 employees. Within the Public Services Development Office, Greg developed, implemented and led corporate succession plans and human resource policies and procedures.
Greg has an MPA, BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria and lives in Victoria with his family.
