In the Community
HP Advanced Solutions, takes great pride in supporting local charities, whether small or large. The company formed its Communities Group in the summer of 2005, not long after taking residence at the Vancouver Island Technology Park.
One of the four community groups is the Social/Charity Community. This committee works together to host social events that involve the staff and their families, and also many different events that support local and national charities. HP Advanced Solutions employees have demonstrated their commitment to the community through numerous charitable campaigns and initiatives. Since 2005, employees with Advanced Solutions have supported the following charitable initiatives within the Greater Victoria area:

Company Global Volunteer Days
HP Advanced Solutions has actively participated in Annual Global Volunteer Days since 2005. In October 2008, Advanced Solutions chose to combine efforts with HP Canada (Victoria) to help paint the CNIB offices in Victoria BC. Over 35 volunteers got together on a sunny Saturday afternoon and made a difference in the community. On a sunny Saturday in November of 2009, the company’s staff volunteered for a day to support the Victoria Riding for the Disabled Association in Victoria by painting all of its offices and stables as well as move their office equipment. In 2010 the company spent a very helpful day painting the offices (over 10,000 sq. ft., twice) of Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Victoria, BC. Volunteer days are something each and every employee takes great pride in doing.
